Bean

“Bean” is a general name for several types of large seeds of       the Fabaceae (or Leguminosae) family,  used for both human and animal consumption. For human consumption, beans may be consumed fresh, and the seeds can be dried and later cooked. Fresh varieties include both long and short types, which may be round or flat. Fresh beans are mainly of two colors: green or yellow. Each type can be extra fine, fine or larger in size. We in Agriance offer the fresh, short bean varieties in both green and yellow. Our varieties are suitable for open field production, and, since the plants are compact, they can be grown without any trellising. Picking can be done by machine (combines) in one picking, for industrial production; or by hand, for fresh consumption – 2-3 picking times.
